Development of anti-allergy substrate for air-conditioning filters

Finipur used its expertise in textile finishing to develop an innovative solution that met the customer's needs. The process involved several steps:

1. Selection of appropriate substrate:

The R&D team began with an extensive search for the ideal carrier or substrate material. Here, the focus was on technical performance such as air permeability, processing properties, recycling possibilities and the absorbency of the anti-allergenic solution. The chosen material also had to be easy to process in the customer's production processes.

2. Development of the chemical solution:

This chemistry was specially developed to ensure the desired anti-allergenicity and meet the requirements set. This involved intensive testing, both at lab scale and industrial level, to optimise the performance and durability of the coating.

3. Production and delivery:

The selected substrate was coated with the developed chemical solution in Finipur's extensive production facilities. The finished product was then cut to the required width and length and delivered in roll form. This approach ensured that the material was immediately ready for use in the customer's production line.
