Impregnation
Impregnation or also full bath coating
- definition: the substrate is drenched into a fluid, then it is squeezed controlled using a 2-roller system. The added volume of coating material absorbed by your fabric is expressed in "the pick up", which means x % of the fabric weight after impregnation. Later the substrate is dried and fixated ensuring that the introduced chemicals deliver the desired properties.
