Gloss / matte

For all kinds of reasons, certain materials may need to be made more glossy or, conversely, more matt. Textiles can be made glossy or ‘chintzed’ temporarily or permanently, depending on the raw material and the requirements.

This smooth, glossy look can also be obtained by adding heat on a calender using fast-spinning rollers. For some applications, the aim may be precisely to achieve a matt effect. For this too, Finipur can offer solutions whereby we make your substrates matt with specific full-bath treatments.
