Tensile strength

The tensile strength of a fabric or material is the maximum mechanical tension reached by a given fabric or material before plastic deformation occurs. By means of a tensile test on our advanced tensile testing machine, we can measure this and determine when the material reaches its breaking point.

At Finipur, we have several techniques at our disposal for increasing the tensile strength of materials. For example, we can treat the substrate with specific coatings, or we can laminate an additional material or layer onto the original substrate.
