Wear resistance

Wear resistance is the property of a material that makes it more resistant to prolonged rubbing or scratching. The wear resistance of a fabric can be determined using the Martindale test. The higher the result of this test, the higher the wear resistance of the material tested.

High wear resistance is important for seating or chairs, among other things. It will allow your customers to enjoy their purchase for longer. We can perform the Martindale test in our lab and suggest an appropriate treatment for the fabrics based on the results.
