By rotating materials such as fabrics, non-wovens, fleeces, knits, foams, etc. at a certain pressure and temperature between 2 rollers, we can make them smooth, fibre-free, thinner, glossy on one side. This also allows us to adjust their air or water permeability, determine their tensile strength and shrinkage, improve their coating properties, crush foams, thermally bond or thermofix.

This treatment is suitable for interior and exterior textiles, for materials in construction, automotive, clothing, leisure articles, sports equipment or medical applications. At Finipur, we have a belt and pressure roller calender with a maximum finishing width of 3 m 40 cm for this purpose.
